About Masjid Ansar As Sunnah
Masjid Ansar as-Sunnah, (Helpers of the Sunnah) - Established in 2000. Their methodology is as-Salafiyyah - applying the Qur’an and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the Righteous Predecessors. They are a multi-ethnic community located in the heart of Paterson, NJ. They offer free weekly classes on various topics and host special events and fundraisers. They also host live conferences and telelinks with scholars from abroad. They are currently in the process of collecting funds to build a Masjid, from which they intend to spread the everlasting dawa (teachings) of the Salaf (may Allah be pleased with them). Their ultimate goal is to build a community welcoming all Muslims and others interested in learning about Islam.
