About Sahaba Mosque
Alhamdullilah, Al Faruq Centre is one of the newest mosques and Islamic education centers serving the South Edmonton Muslim community. In 2017 we purchased 5.5 acres of land in the newest part of Edmonton. Since then a lot has happened in the area. That same year the Government of Alberta announced the construction of a brand new hospital as well as a modern high school. In June of 2020, the City of Edmonton voted in favor of prioritizing the Capital Line South LRT expansion coming to our area! We are so excited to be situated in the fastest-growing part of Edmonton and things are only getting better.
